Portable VirtualBox [VB launcher utility]
Sorry for my lack of information.
I was talking about your suggestion, nothing else.
I will test it later 'cause I still need to download VBox 1.6.2/1.6.4
I am not an English Native anyway.
About Slower (Edit): I tested it inside my Windows XP Virtual Machine to make slowdown my MS-DOS Cobol compiler, and it really works.
I slowed the ntvdm.exe process to 999 ms suspend interval and 1 ms resume interval. The result was that it made VirtualBox take only 3% of CPU usage!!
The program seems to be portable and tiny!
I think is a must have for the database.

I started yesterday the version 2.0 of yours launcher w/ VirtualBox 1.6.4.
I realized you did a great work, 'cause it starts very fast.
However, it still says the following when I try to add a Network Card: Could not find Network Driver, Please reinstall
Edit: I think I understood why you are taking time to answer my request. It's because it's a .inf file.
Browsing through the internet, I learned that is possible to create a uninstall function from inside the .inf file.
I am going to do it later, due to me being a kinda busy now.

No, it's not about the .inf file, don't bother with it now. I didn't reply before because I wasn't here. (In case that you wonder why did forum show me as active - I use autorefresh)
What OS do you use?
And which version of VirtualBox Portable - 32 / 64 / 32+64 bit?
Do you have / did you have VirtualBox installed locally at this computer?

Yeah
Thanks for the attention
I use Windows XP SP3 w/ VirtualBox 1.6.4 x86. I didn't have VirtualBox installed yet in my computer 'cause before, I was only using the Shared Folder feature.
Now I want to have FTPserv to work with built-in guest OS's FTP client, so I can have shared folders and USB support w/ any OS.
I am a Brazilian, then VirtualBox auto-adjusts its language for me. My %ProgramFiles% is "Arquivos de Programas".
I use a Intel Dual Core w/ a network card that requires manufacter driver installation. Off course, the driver is already installed.

Ok, several other questions.
-Does michaelm_007's version work for you?
-try to run the folowing in the command line:
and paste c:\sc.txt here.
Then start portable VBox and do this again.
Also, when VBox is running, check if there's VBoxSVC.exe in the task manager.

Sorry
Sorry For My Late Response but I was really busy this time. I did these tests and the results were:
Not Running Before and After
I use secondary logon. Before I said it was not working, I had tested w/ the admin account.
VBoxSVC really stays in the Task Manager while PortableVBox is running.
Edit: Sorry to say, I never tested networking w/ michaelm's launcher, Unfortunatly.

Thank for the Attention
Thanks for the attention. I'm really happy you took some time to answer my posts.
However, I am not going to need it for soon. I still need to do a few work for university.
I wait hopefully when you'll be avaiable or ready to implement your idea.
I just need a Linux OS that supports Shared Folders, yet I am going to see it in VBox Guest OS's list.
Edit1: Well, it's so easy...Mandriva supports!!
Edit2: I've discovered what was the awful bugs that I described one time, it's due to a bug that VirtualBox Has That causes Right Ctrl to be registered as in hold in Memory.

"Create New Virtual Disk" error
Hi,
I've installed your version of Portable VirtualBox. But, when I want to create a new virtual box and to resize the image from 2GB to 3GB, I always obtain the same message : "the memory could not be read"...
Could anyone help me ?
Thanks a lot.
