Hello Boys n Girls,
I found the following explaination about how to install explorer 7 as a standalone browser, meaning side by side with explorer 6:
http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2006/0 ... thout.html

I tried it and it works but I am not sure of the following:
1. Does this effect the registry?
2. Can it be used as a portable application?

Let me know what you guys think.
Cheers.

Eldad

Hi Simon and hi all,
Simon asks why I posted this and reccomends other solutions for browsing such as Pocket K-Meleon . Still, I believe that finding as many solutions as possible is better than sticking to a single solution.

Other than that, isn't it just fun to see a portable IE7? And to think why Microsoft went through all that trouble to develop a new browser and installer when they clearly could come up with a better solution.

And finally, I am happy to say I am NOT a student. I graduated my MBA last year :D

Good luck graduating. I know that the bar exams are NOT easy. Do you have an idea about what you would like to do after graduation? As far as I know the law filed is really over covered in Israel.

Other than that... what about IE 7? Any ideas if that app can be portable?

Well, now I have only five to six month till the end of the degree itself (plus one more year for the "qualification" - working as a Lawyer...

and about the test period :S
I could do much better with law of titles (דיני קניין) and corporation laws (דיני תאגידים) but I'm working pretty hard (Job) for living and some more other problems =\

O.k, lets continue!
