IconsExtract

#1 Post by JohnW » Sat Jan 19, 2008 3:54 am

The IconsExtract utility scans the files and folders on your computer, and extracts the icons and cursors stored in EXE, DLL, OCX, CPL and in other file types.
You can save the extracted icons to ICO files (or CUR files for cursors), or copy the image of a single icon into the clipboard.

Some will be aware that this program originally saved its settings to the Registry and so could not be considered portable. This latest version saves to a cfg file.

Its available from ...

Code: Select all

This exracts only one size as the ICO format. You can copy other size to cliboard, but it's in the JPG format. What am I doing wrong?

We actually already have this one added to the database: https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1584. Again, posting to the forums is ideal before creating a program entry.
