Mass Image Compressor - simple batch image compression

#1 Post by webfork »

Features wrote:* Compress contents of a given folder path (i.e. directory full path)
* supports recursive folder search and image compression
* Control over file quality and dimension (i.e. Compression Parameters) of the resultant image.
* Test your compression parameters by previewing an image. It also shows you how much % compression you may achieve.
* Supports wide range of images including most popular JPEG, BMP, WMF, TIFF, PNG. (Note: Compressed images will be in either JEPG or PNG based on your selection)
Uses a lot of the same components and contains the similar functionality to FileOptimizer (https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2377), but only works on images. Includes a quality selection for JPEGs, resize, and can skip files under a certain size.

Steps: Download the program, unzip, and run Universal Extractor (https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=641) on the MassImageCompressor.msi file (using default settings). Launch Image Compressor.exe.

Status: Portable, writes no settings. Tested v.3.1
