Dopamine (DotNET audio player)

#1 Post by Midas »

Been meaning to make a quick post about this player for quite some time -- I guess today will be the day...

I haven't tested Dopamine, really, but it has consistently made it into top players lists around the web mainly because it can manage large music collections.

Moreover, the UI looks cool, the homepage states that it's based on FFmpeg code and it advertises a portable version.

Also, although it seems to be Windows only ATM (DotNET v4.6.1 required), development seems to be ongoing to turn it multi-platform by v3.

Dopamine is an audio player which tries to make organizing and listening to music as simple and pretty as possible. It can play wav, mp3, ogg vorbis, flac, wma, ape, opus and m4a/aac.
