Shark007 Codecs [64bit Portable]

Portable Codec Solutions including a powerful GUI to control them are currently available from my website.
No installation is required and codec removal/system cleanup can be performed using the button on the Help TAB of the GUI.

They are distributed separately as 64-Bit solutions.
Use of Windows Media Player is heavily targeted but not a requirement. Any 64bit player you choose can use these distributions.
I also distribute a pre-configured MPC-BE player on my tools page to complement these codec solutions.

Direct download links are available... url=https://shark007.net/x64components1.html

I implemented an Auto-Update feature that will allow users to update all distributed files directly from within the GUI without the need to download full codec releases. This new feature will be controlled by the existing checkbox on the Help tab and run solely off of my own servers.

A quick note to show that the portable releases can now fully update themselves without ever needing to download a full codec release.
I updating the above graphic to include a screenshot of a codec update in progress.

Also know, this feature can be run silently using the commandline, full\path\Tools\AutoUpdate.exe /silent OR full\path\Tools\Settings64_portable.exe /silent
The silent option requires minimum version 2.2.0.0 of the updater.
These updates preserve the user settings also.

Yes, it does have FULL x265 playback support including subtitles if present.
Anything that the 'Movies & TV app' fails to play, will be able to play properly in WMP using my codecs.

UPDATE: since version 18.2.2 - H.266 is supported.

some informational news of importance. (concerning the latest release)

Windows Update (and some other playback tools) can change codec settings without the users knowledge.
I've taken these scenario's into account in my latest releases and auto-set the GUI settings to proper values according to the users actual system setup.

So, if the user had Windows audio disabled, and Windows update re-enabled Windows Audio, my software will no longer show it as disabled.

A heads up for those relying on the auto update tool.

If you are experiencing constant update errors concerning the LAV codecs, you will have to navigate to the installed 'filters' folder
and then choose to delete the 3 files, LAVAudio.ax, LAVSplitter.ax and LAVVideo.ax to correct the issue.

Next, check for updates, the LAV filters will be updated properly, without errors, and the issue will no longer exist.

With over 20,000 views on this forum, there has not been a single complaint.
I'm going to have to assume these portable releases are working well for you.
If you have any concerns, please make them known. I do monitor this thread.

I did a lot of code cleaning and fixed the broken Movies & TV App along with Microsoft Store errors.
With current releases, everything should function as expected with no setup required by the user.

I'm having trouble installing it. Does it support 32-bit?

I distribute both a 32 bit and a 64bit package.
The downloaded file from my site would have the Bit'ness as part of the filename.
Exanple; ADVANCED_32bitCodecs.7z

UPDATE: 32bit releases are no longer developed.
