Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

1.8.2.2 update for those that are using it: http://mihd.net/m695b2

Info can be found in this topic: http://portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=5841

If you refer to http://www.scummvm.org/compatibility.php, and search http://www.abandonia.com, you can pick up most of the games, legally, for free.

It's portable, it's freeware, it's stealth, it's PortableAppsMenu + other launchers compatible, and it even rewrites the data folder if users accidentally delete their settings.

1.8.2.2 - 02nd December 2007
Minor source code changes
Minor restructuring
1.8.2.1 - 26th August 2007
Slight change to application launch section
1.8.2.0 - 22nd August 2007
"Data" folder will be completely rewritten if it is not present
Change to structure of sections in source
Modifications to the file checking section
Rewrite to application launch section to make it work in the PortableAppsMenu
Renamed to PScummVM

Thanks for all your work!

I have always been a fan of all the old Lucas Arts games like Monkey Island and I just wanted to thank you for your tweaks to make ScummVM portable.

I am currently playing Simon the Sorcerer Which is Awesome!!! 8)
Thanks again for all your work and for posting this.

I really hope they add this to the Others - Emulators section.

Updated to 1.8.2.4 to include ScummVM 0.11.1.

Any word from database maintainers as to why this hasn't been included?

Pretty much ticks all the boxes, path portability is automatic and it even works under Wine on Linux.
