• If you use the portable version of EmEditor, you can use 7-Zip to extract the downloaded .msi file. Please create the “Help” sub folder under the EmEditor folder, and copy the extracted help file
(emeditor_en.chm) into the created “Help” sub folder of EmEditor folder. The emeditor_en.ini file is not necessary. You can also use Command Prompt. For instance, run “msiexec /a
C:\Downloads\emed_help_en_xx.x.x.msi /qb TARGETDIR=C:\TestFolder” to extract the Help file from the msi installer into C:\TestFolder.
You can alsdo use PeaExtractor for extract the file 'emed_help_en_20.5.0.msi'.
