Came across neuPanel recently.
I think it's a useful product. Currently at v 0.9.0
NuePanel is a free tool which gives easy access to standard Windows settings, applets, troubleshooters and tools.
It is in essence providing access to features of the Control Panel.
It just seems to make it easier for me
It can be customised with new commands, and there are some examples available under the Custom tab.
"Display DNS" lists cached DNS details, an interesting way to see sites your system has accessed recently.
"Sysinternals" opens your default browser at the Sysinternals website.
"Windows Product Key" finds and displays your Windows product key.
I can't guarantee that it's portable but I suspect it is.

@Baas
Thanks - bad omission from me
@webfork
There is a configuration file (custom.cfg) in which each line represents a separate command.Examples are given in a readme file. New commands can be added and will create a new button.
If this is what you meant - Ok.
If not, all I can say (as a Fawlty Towers fan) is that the view will still be Torquay and not the plains of the Serengeti

Re: neuPanel
Nice tool, kinda like WSCC.
I'll do some testing of my own and, if there's no-one else already doing it, will add to the database.
