Or SeaMonkey. I still use it.

Although I think that K-Meleon and SeaMonkey have too few extensions for smaragdus, given that he's not happy about Pale Moon having broken compatibility with some Firefox add-ons.

This article http://www.computerworld.com/article/24 ... april.html (and I just noticed the_watcher) point out there's an add on to move back to the old interface:

I haven't tested it.

Any Chromium-based browser is spyware, no doubts.
Everything from Google is spyware, it was designed as spyware from the start, including any Electron-based app, even third-party.

I second billon. Also, there are several portability issues affecting all Chrome/ium based software, as detailed by JohnTHaller and others at viewtopic.php?p=87584#p87584...

The word "spyware" is a little too harsh. (The following thoughts are only based on the Neocities article.)

* Slimjet just didn't remove Google APIs like Translate and Extensions. Those are quite handy features to have.
* They do use Bing, but what browser doesn't bundle some form of search engine in order to make some money?
* The requests to the gvt1.com domain are to determine if DNS queries are "truthful": https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/is ... 20Modified. Basically, to see if your DNS requests have been modified by malware.

I should note that I don't use Slimjet myself!
is it stealth? ;)
