I think this one is the best MP3tagger out there.

And MP3Tag IS PORTABLE since the end of 2006 so there should be no reason to leave it one the TPFC rejection list anymore...

mp3tag was my favorite after some success stories, a couple years ago, Well I came in need of it but I'm getting an error with the current version.. Well I didn't actually get that far.. It just quits :?

Speaking of which, I accomplished what I wanted with The Godfather mentioned by "Replika", I must say one thing about the interface. TABS! the author appears loves tabs, lol. :D

I've been using "Media Tagger," by Ladislav Dufek, portably for years. I thought I got it from here back in 04. But don't see any sign of it. When I google Search it I get a bunch of Unsafe sites (including the site he claimed to be his which also gives me a cz 404 error)

so I guess it's no longer around.

if you need maybe andrew would be willing to be a through point for my folder (I could send it to him he could send it to you)

It looks like you can get an older one (1.2.0 instead of my 1.3.5) from non nags if you're a member.

I use MP3 Tag Pro, it's easy to use, yet powerful mp3 tagger and organizer. Not free though

The GodFather! was recently updated. It's at V0.80 and is perfectly portable.

Could you explain how to make it portable?

Oh, my bad... apologies. Uniextract the installer. files are in the $INSTDIR folder. Optionally, delete the Lng folder.

Sorry -- ignore. Just some forum maintenance necessary to rename the thread to Re: ID3 Tagger rather than that odd "." bit. I should have deleted it when finished.

OK, but what about splitting the thread and moving The Godfather to the submission forum?
