The application requires admin privileges too.

How to disable auto check for updates?

In my tests it worked with no problems using limited accounts. Can you test it again? Thanks in advance.

It seems that it's not possible to disable the autoupdate function.

Re-tested... DigicamPhotoRecovery.exe requires admin privileges.

Do you have UAC enabled?

No. But I've enabled the UAC just to re-test the app. And the result was the same. No admin credentials were required on limited accounts (on Vista 64).
But... taking advantage of an oversight of my wife, I could test the program on her notebook. And I confirmed that admin rights are needed to run the app, at least on Windows 7 64.
Confusing...

I didn't mention Opera directly.
Anyway, since I don't use social networks, this extension won't be useful for me. But...

HEY, GUYS! THERE'S SOME NEW STUFF AT OPERA SOFTWARE THAT WE CAN "IMPORT" TO FIREFOX!! 8)
