#1 Post by Island Boy » Wed Mar 07, 2012 1:30 pm

Extract.....JPG......from.......PDF.
Simple drag & drop usage [Python], extracts images to the same folder the executable is in.
No .ini file. [No settings to save anyway]
Simple but useful.

Thanks for posting this up.

This program would hold far more appeal if it were broadened to save all images from a PDF file.

Very nice. Are there any other programs that do this? Previously I would have used PDFX-Change to just extract whole pages and then gone from there -- this is much faster.

If you want only one or two pictures instead of all at once, Sumatra PDF will likely have that function soon.

You can find Sumatra PDF prereleases here.

EDIT: Sumatra PDF 2.0 is now available and has that feature.

I personally use this via Sendto within Expresso/Cafe convoy. Add the files to the Expresso\Data\Links folder.
You can also use it as an added tool in Freecommander or Dropit.

Thanks -- tho I saw Softpedia had some less than nice things to say about it. Have you run into the issue they're describing?

Not with the previous version (V1.5). Just updated to the latest one. Will post here should I encounter any issues with V2.0.
