Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

While there are zillions of Rufus tutorials around the web, this particular one looked rather simple and easy to follow:

A short tutorial for beginner's on how to create bootable USB stick in Windows with Ubuntu/Linux ISO images.

Be forewarned that if attempting so setup persistence with Rufus -- which will create a special linux ext3 formatted secondary partition -- and its size is set too low, it will fail every time. I found 256MB to be an acceptable value to get around this problem.
