v6.27 Apr 22, 2020

Installer no longer checks whether there is the latest update available, and nor notifies a user of the update.
Installer now deletes any files associated with Bandizip 7.x in C:\Program Files\Bandizip.

For those still using v6, there was another release a few days ago to address a buffer overrun vulnerability:

v6.29 Sep 14, 2020

Fixed a buffer overrun vulnerability (KVE-2020-0652)
is it stealth? ;)

User FireRabbit commented (www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2397#comment31643) that Bandizip is the only archive program that supports Zpaq, a compressor that uses journaling and append-only updates, prominent features for any backup oriented archiver.

As I had never encountered Zpaq previously (nor have I tested it in any way!), I'll just leave a note here.
