Uconeer - unit conversion for Engineers

This free units conversion program is designed specifically for engineers. It includes a wide range of technical categories required by engineers, but it excludes the archaic and esoteric units that clutter the menus of the other conversion programs.
If you need to convert from hogsheads to tablespoons then Uconeer is NOT for you, but if you are tired of searching for the barrels amongst the bottles, buckets and bushels then read on ....

* In addition to the standard categories Uconeer includes engineering categories like Diffusivity, Enthalpy, Entropy, Fouling Factor, Heat Capacity, Heat Transfer Coefficient, Moment of Inertia, Stress, Surface Tension, Thermal Conductivity, Valve Sizing Coefficient, Friction Factor, Torque and Viscosity. Click here to see the full list of categories. There are a total of 397 units in 46 categories.

* Includes only the practical units in each category, making them quick and easy to select.

* Convert between density and specific volume.

* Convert decimal lengths directly to and from lengths in feet, inches and fractional inches. (Screenshot)

* Convert between dynamic and kinematic viscosity. (Screenshot)

* Convert between Brinell, Knoop, EQUOtip (tm), Rockwell, Shore Scleroscope, Tensile Strength and Vickers hardness scales for steels. (Screenshot)

* Convert between volumetric and mass flowrate for liquids or gases. (Screenshot)

* Calculate Universal Gas Constant "R" in any combination of units, which can be based on Energy or Pressure x Volume. (Screenshot)

* Flexible formatting of output, including engineering notation.

* Full support for clipboard, with clipboard contents always shown on screen.

* Online calculator during data entry.

* "Recently-used" list ensures that the categories which you use regularly are available with a single click.

* Small download size - only 0.5 Mb

* Full install and uninstall utilities included.

Old thread update: this program is still in development with an update last year, but has gone trialware. Moving to Payware thread.
