screenShot.exe

#1 Post by jenss »

screenShot.exe is no a standalone app.

it is contained in startmenu 8 from iobit

but what an app. 8) 8) 8)

to get the app dowload free startmenu 8 here :
https://www.iobit.com/downloadcenter.ph ... startmenu8

extract with universal extractor or install and copy these files :
madbas¡c_.bpl
maddisAsm.bpl
madexcept_.bpl
rtl120.bpl
screenShot.exe
vcl120.bpl
vclx120.bpl

NB !! all .pbl extensions must be there. Else the aps is complaining and cannot be stoppet before all .bpl extentions are present. !! :!:

The app is very intuitive and simpel.
The best alternative yet to faststone capture 5.3(my total favorite) in windows 10.
I am not sure how to download images

I was going to briefly comment on the fact that the download does not have an extension (it's exe).
However I suspect that the program will not be regarded as acceptable as 'Start Menu' is shareware.

You are quite right. It is shareware, my mistake.

I guess that this will be the last said about screenshot.exe . :|

FTR, I liked the simple interface, with the toolbar appearing only after you made your capture. I didn't test stealthiness, but some simple settings (like hiding the prompt dialog when copying to clipboard) don't seem to stick. Overall, a good lightweight (<5MB) screenshooter. 8)
