Glassbrick - live usability: zoom, color, use keyboard as mouse

#1 Post by webfork »

A few years old now and the main site is offline, but very unique. I found some of the controls less than ideal, but still a *lot* of functionality here. Sad to see that it's no longer in development.

- Zoom function - works beautifully but you can't interact with objects once you reach 3x zoom level, meaning you have to zoom back out to click on something.
- Keyboard mouse control - very smooth and easy to use but couldn't seem to get it to function with zoom. Some of the listed hotkeys were less than clear.
- Color controls - not as easy to use but can see a LOT of uses beyond just readability and visual impairment, including reduced color contrast for smaller screen captures. Color overlay option was either really light or really dark.

Update here: The Snapfiles link above is v2.1. Softpedia is listing version 2.3, but this may not be accurate: https://www.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-E ... rick.shtml

File details

File Size: 2279424 Byte(s) (2.17 MB)
Modified Date: 2018-09-03 18:02
Version: 2.2.0.0
MD5: 5ef63b1a9d740c4855049775097aabb5

But it looks like this is actually 2.2.
