I recently became aware of Evorim's Free Firewall (http://www.evorim.com/en/free-firewall) offer and although I haven't tested it, I found it worthy of mention at TPFC.
I'm assuming Free Firewall isn't readily portable because of its nature and because there is zero info about that issue.

Control every program on your computer by permit or deny access to the Internet. Free Firewall will notify you if applications want to access the Internet in the background, without your knowledge. I tested Free firewall about a week ago. It looks decent and it is a program to watch but I can't say how effective it is- I didn't try any leak tests..
It seems that a portable version is coming:
Future development What we are currently working on
- Integration in the Windows Action Center - Portable Version
- Protection against fraudulent websites
- And many, many more ...
So glad to see a very tiny firewall. In fact is the only firewall I have liked ever since the days of Sygate Firewall!! Well I'm still missing a firewall to my XP machine, but I understand the reasons to only support vista/7 and up versions of windows, like reliance in the newer built-in firewall. Looking forward as well for the portable version, keep the good work.
