Clipboard Master

#1 Post by webfork »

Status: Not Portable

Testing process:
  1. Universal Extractor didn't work
  2. Tried install + uninstall process:
    • There is no uninstall process to disable the things it's added. That's a real problem. Note that it may have been caused by not installing to the Program Files directory.
    • Tries to install a Firefox add-on
    • There may be a way to get it to work with included registry items that appear to turn off certain registry functions, but I can't find a way to move the settings to the local folder, so that's really the end of it.

I didn't -- but the saving-to-appdata bit makes me think I wouldn't make much progress there.

The installer is actually a MSI package wrapped in a setup .exe. You could run the installer (do not complete), go to %TEMP%, copy the .cab + .msi files, and (to get complete satisfaction / for time wasting exercise), extract the sxxt from it.

Oh, remember to CXL the installation.

Clipboard Master is not portable (as webfork already discovered).
