VERY old thread update:
XBLite is a concise, simple, powerful, Windows programming language which combines the speed of C with the ease of a BASIC syntax. The XBLite compiler is free, open-source, and published under GPL and LGPL licenses.
Last update was back in 2010 (Version 2.41)

XBlite official homepage (which Wikipedia currently deems dead, BTW) confirms your version info.

But the webpage copyright footer is fairly current ("Copyrights © 2020 xblite.com") and source files at the SF.net repo are also quite recent (last package dated 2021-10-10; cf. https://sourceforge.net/projects/xblite/files/)...
