[Mod note: as the current is the official forum topic for Texmaker, subject was ammended; original was "Looking for a portable LaTeX renderer"]
Does anyone know if there is any portable LaTeX typesetting software? I thought that Portable OpenOffice might do this, but it doesn't seem to have the capability.

TexPortable (not tested, but seems to work). Launcher created with AHK (see
here).
Includes MiKTeX,
TexMaker and SumatraPDF. Starting
TexPortable.exe brings up TexMaker and SumatraPDF side-by-side, with MiKTeX running in the tray. The really neat thing about this is that it
automatically previews the PDF in Sumatra when you do a build.
The program files are around ~700Mb uncompressed.
