Disconnect & reconnect USB Drives & Sticks ?

#1 Post by @thehop »

Hallo,
i'm looking for Freeware (e.g. Timer) where i can automatically
disable / enable / lock / unlock external Drives & USB Sticks.

Do You know someone?

PS:
I only find this Commandline Tool from m$ ...

DevCon command-line utility functions as an alternative to Device Manager
http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... US;q311272

... but i would prefer a GUI based Program ;)

Have you looked at Drive Manager?

http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=759

It locks/unlocks and ejects/loads. I assume the eject/load function is equivalent to the enable/disable function.

I was looking for something like that. I run some things under a guest account on a school comp and it has "Safely Remove Hardware" disabled.

Thank You
