Topic update: latest upstream 7-Zip is v21.02 alpha released 2021-05-06 (changelog is at www.7-zip.org/history.txt).

7-Zip 21.05 is out. No more alphas

The source isn't posted yet, so it's not quite fully out.

It doesn't appear to be stealth, I have entries written to HKCU\Software\7-Zip\ on Windows 11. Might be something else that is using 7-Zip, haven't quite figured it out yet.
