Is there a program that can do this , split images lengthwise?

Hello ,
I have a folder with 100s of jpg images and I want to split each image in half lengthwise , exactly 50/50 ,
turn 400x600 into 200x600 .
Is there a program that can do this ?

Scantailor outputs the scanned pages where the text is centered and the margins around the text are defined by the user.

It accepts bmps, jpgs, pngs and gifs, as well as pdf files of course. It can do batch (entire series of scans for one book).

I've used it on a number of scanned books so far, and it allows precision, for example when the book is smaller than the scan-page size, and there is a huge black right margin, or top margin. I simply split into multiple columns (or rows if there is a top or bottom margin I want to cut off).

The PhotoScape version posted to the database also does this. I did it a few years ago for some photo sheets I had saved and it worked great.
