I'd give OpenShot another look. It is definitely portable now. Check it out below from PortableApps.com.

Just to confirm, it is not natively portable, but made portable via PortableApps, right?
Personally, I have tried both and I prefer Shotcut.
But it is a pretty capable video editor, and I will vote for it if it's added to the database.

It stores settings in %USERPROFILE%\.openshot_qt and we move it back and forth along with setting 8 env vars, portablizing settings, etc. There doesn't seem to be either an environment variable or a command line switch to adjust this yet.

A month later, I am using Shotcut as well. I am a huge fan. Shotcut does everything I want it to do when it comes to creating videos.
