I'll just pick the ones I actually use often. I can't really judge what the best one is from that list because I haven't tried most of them.

KeePass by far, I'd be lost without it.

DxWnd comes second for me because I'm old, and so are the games I like to play, without it a lot of games would be a pain to play, if even start.

The rest looks pretty meh to me, I've used PDF-XChange Editor, but if you're using the free version then it's not really a "Editor" just a bloated viewer, and there is a better "Viewer" already IMO. /cough Sumatra.

For me KeePass Professionel Edition is the winner.
Second and third choice: EMDB and TidyTabs.

It's admittedly not a fair or representative "best of" contest, especially with programs added in the past month as few of us have had an opportunity to really check these programs out (e.g. Ricochet). Still, I don't think this would have quite the same resonance with out userbase if I ran it in February. Anyway, the original goal back in 2014 was to try and pick out some well-loved programs from the past year that I might have missed. At least on that point, it's succeeded brilliantly.
