I got a lot out of
last year's contest so I decided to run it again:
The site is alive and well with
67 programs added to the database this year, which is just 5 shy of our total 2014 additions. If you have a favorite from the list below, please reply and nominate it.
Programs added in 2015:
Feel free to nominate more than one but note that if one program gets the clear and obvious focus of the nominations, we'll skip over the poll step and call it a year.
Thanks everyone for your time and energy this year.

Runners up:
VeraCrypt,
wxMP3gain,
Pocket Radio Player,
Treesheets and
HoeKey.
BTW, nice trick with that table BBcode tag I didn't even know existed...

Love is blind,
PopSel has something that I like.
HoeKey makes a good companion to it.

I can't really say I use any of the apps listed very much. But If I had to pick one that seem really neat and unique I would Say Splat. Other choice would be HoeKey purely because I can use it as another alternative launcher to make other apps portable instead of using a batch file, yap, or paf.

Favorite app: SunsetScreen.
This app is part of my startup routine. Indispensable app to control the color and brightness of your monitor.
Honorable mentions:
These are apps I have either used a few times or none at all, but are decent apps.
- Splat - By looking at the votes so far, I can tell this is a useful app. I haven't had the chance to use it, but I might down the road.
- PeaExtractor - Drag and drop version of Peazip. Might be useful for instances where Bandizip sometimes fails.
- Hoekey - Although this is definitely not new, I have a soft spot in my heart for this app. Used this as my hotkey launcher for years on some of my older systems.
- DBC Task Manager - Like the Windows 8 task manager, but are still using Windows 7? Use this app! Last time I tested this on Windows 7, it froze during certain operations.
- ExperienceIndexOK - Windows 8+ removed the Experience index. Use this app to check your Experience index on newer Windows systems.
Happy new year everyone!
