vlc is not stealth

vlc is not stealth

hi
vlc is not stealth
it creates this folder c:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\vlc\
with its settings

can someone confirm?

Maybe, but VLC Media Player Portable is.

Note that the PortableApps.com Launcher simply moves the settings to the thumb drive/external hard drive on exit. %APPDATA%\vlc is expected to exist when VLC Portable is running (and disappear when you exit, unless you have VLC installed).

hi i guess there is an option to save the settings inside the program folder

No, there isn't.
There used to be a way to get the program to behave portably, but that functionality went away for whatever reason, which is why we're pointing to the PortableApps version on the official entry.
