check these folks out home page and forum. IMHO much, much better than batch scripting. with scripts you can automate the whole process.
  • save current settings
  • install your settings
  • run the app
  • ...
  • on exit app
  • save your new settings
  • reinstall original settings

True - it will work. However, it seems to save its settings in the registry - it doesn't create any file in its directory when settings are changed. And we all know that they must be saved somewhere ... ;-)

Although the website proudly claims
... no installation of any files whatsoever on your computer ...
(my translation), this doesn't seem to consider the registry. Which, of course, is not really a file, but then ....

Pity because this seems to be a neat program otherwise, with plenty of options and possibilities. If it wrote to an ini-file, and then maybe also offered an English version, it would surely be a worthy candidate for this DB.

Cheers
Chris
