FreeRapidDownloader (JPE Launcher)

Place the zip contents into the .\Programfiles folder

The JPE launcher will redirect the registry entries and
appdata folders generated by the program.
You still need Java6 installed for this to work :(

ClipBoard Monitoring still works and you will have to define a download path.
Has a "filenote" type feature to store descriptions with downloads..nice

This program does not supercede the wait times for these sites,it isnt a "Hacker"type app,
but it does automate the process so that the user can simply copy a bunch of links all
at once and go on browsing with the wait processes going on in the background.
CAPTCHA dialogue boxes will still need to be filled in when appropriate.

I downloaded the lateset Digiwiz MiniPE iso in less than 15 minutes from MegaUpload
I just had to do the Captcha boxes for each part.
So far that seems to be the fastest site to use this on.
UpLoad is the only site that gave me any errors.

It is already portable i think.
There is a -p command to make it work as a portable application.

Please walk a noob like me thru such a thing;
I dont have a clue4 what a -p switch is :shock:

It is a parameter you can pass to the executable. Try the Params setting in order to get the launcher send the switch

Code: Select all

[Launch]
Params=-p
If the app is stealth, you may want to turn off using the jauntepe library. Add this setting and you can remove the jauntePE.dll

Code: Select all

[Launch]
NoPlugins=1
and you can still got benefit using the launcher only. I did the same way in my Skype JPE :)

Well I'll be...You are absolutely correct.
I made a launcher with the DeadSoul's Portabilizer using the -p launch parameter
and no appdata folder;configuration is backed up to the application folder.
Nice.

I still get the reg entry :
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\vitysoft\frd]
But I can live with that.

Thanx for the tips you two :D
