Freak is an adblock updater that uses Fanboy's pre-custom lists to update supported browsers

Well maybe people are interested to know that I've come up with a Portable HOSTS manager, what to do now?

I have the basic structure implemented already. I have been using it to update IE, Opera, CCleaner and the HOSTS file for about 3 months now, which has been great. I just need to make it pretty and 'user friendly'.

This is great ....

but (even though they are perhaps ruining it in new versions) is Utorrent support considered?

No it isn't, I simply don't use that application anymore I'm afraid. I could look at adding it!

So after two years of floating ideas and code around, I finally can say I have stable product (without the UI.) A huge thanks to joby_toss for testing and for those who tested as well in the past. I just need to implement a nice UI and this is my weakest point in coding.

That's some news. As hardened user of adblock, I've been partial to FanBoy's offering, not the least because he had regional ad targetting. I hope less diversity equals more quality, in this case... :|
