#1 Post by Peter202 »

Is it possible JauntePE to portabalize programs that installs drivers, like, for example - PowerISO?

I mean in a way that WinCDEmu and FreeOTFE are built. They both install drivers but they are portable programs.

They both use scripting language to do whatever it is they do.
You can virtualize those kinda apps,they just wont have the drivers available to them.
JauntePE redirects stuff where as a script will actually interact with the OS.

Long time ago I made a jauntePE VPC and used NSIS script to load the drivers;
but its not the same as what you are talking about.

I have a whittled down /bare bone version of Daemon Tools Lite that I would love to have as a portable,
but it aint gonna happen using virtualization apps anytime soon.

What are you working on anyway?
