Absolutely. The list is almost complete. Enough evidence to support a request to terminate his account.Igor wrote:Do you think blogger would remove his blog if reported? An old friend has returned.

Re: An old friend has returned.
Guess what? All links to "Martik software" were removed from his blog. Hope it's permanent. Brothersoft remains an issue, though. They host the software and bundle it with their "Extreme Toolbar".
Re: An old friend has returned.
I don't think so:
edit: quoted url to disableAttention!
Due to some changes in the blog, I decided to move Softwares, Keygens and Patches to another blog:From now on, you can find latest updates related to softwares, keygens and patches in new blog, and of course this blog will remain updated.
Thank you,
Martik

Updated WOT ratings to include those sites.Igor wrote:He also owns...
Re: An old friend has returned.
Both martik blogs on blogger are now deleted. Big thanks to Blogger team.
Re: An old friend has returned.
Wonderful. Thanks for the update, Igor. It's a big blow to Martik but unfortunately he is still around on Twitter, Wordpress, Brothersoft, etc. Still a lot of work left... if anyone is willing to put together a standard message with all the facts that we could email around that would be great.
BTW, just a few days ago he was boasting about martik-scorp's pagerank. See http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... -june.html

Re: An old friend has returned.
BrotherSoft has agreed to remove the app that he had stolen from me, well not exactly remove but replace the page contents so it shows my original app instead of martik one. They seem willing to help, although it took a while (probably because my first message to them was not so clear and a bit angrish).
I also suggested to them that developer community would appreciate if they would not host anything from martik, but I got no response on that part. Maybe if someone would write more formal request, preferably someone that actually speaks English natively
EDIT:
I just saw that he even has TuneUp Utilities under his name, he is charging $34

Re: An old friend has returned.
And it's out of date. This guy has no morals what so ever.
Re: An old friend has returned.
According to him (about page on his blog) there is nothing illegal in modifying software because he's from Iran:
BTW He already has new blog on Blogger:(I currently living in "Iran" and I obey its copyright law* which tells me creating, modifying, publishing serials/keygens/patches/cracks for "abroad softwares" are absolutely legal) If you have any legal issues please contact appropriate media file owners/hosters to remove your copyrighted contents.

Re: An old friend has returned.
He's right that there is no international copyright authority yet. The Pirate Bay had quite a bit of fun with this, telling off a lot of major companies.Igor wrote:According to him (about page on his blog) there is nothing illegal in modifying software because he's from Iran:(I currently living in "Iran" and I obey its copyright law* which tells me creating, modifying, publishing serials/keygens/patches/cracks for "abroad softwares" are absolutely legal) If you have any legal issues please contact appropriate media file owners/hosters to remove your copyrighted contents.
However, while I don't think Pirate Bay is innocent, its clear that Martik is just a spineless scammer. If you read his responses up on the first link that spawned this thread, you can see he's interested in arguing the point to the extent that it serves his interests. He ignores claims that copyright applies to his work, then that copyright applies to him based on where he lives, and finally charges for software while claiming not to make any money.
Good news.Igor wrote:Both martik blogs on blogger are now deleted. Big thanks to Blogger team.
Any way we can help out with contacting the blogger folks on the force of the last deletion?Igor wrote:BTW He already has new blog on Blogger:Code: Select all

Re: An old friend has returned.
I already reported his new blog.
Don't know if it's of any use because he already announced moving to some Persian blogging service if Blogger removes the new one:
