Going through my somewhat neglected feeds, I noticed that freewarefiles.com hasn't been updating in a while...
A cherished software mirror with quite a few portables, is it yet another victim of the web super-consolidation?
BTW, Softpedia Linux feeds have gone awol, too.

It appears the last Wayback Machine successful capture is November 28 2021. https://web.archive.org/web/20211128234 ... files.com/
I suppose that as long as we use the external downloads, we can use this image, as it seems the internal links are clickable.

Yes, FreewareFile.com should be considered gone for good. The man responsible for its operation was (?) apparently a one-man company. He died. Here's MajorGeeks.com's announcement.

For years, Ronald's FreewareFiles was second for me only to PortableFreeware. It had more choices because he included non-portable, and it would be the second place to look if I couldn't find it here. He is definitely missed. Blessings to his family.
