Portablefreeware Email List

#1 Post by LetFreedomRing »

Hi.

I used to receive an occasional update email from The Portable Freeware Collection announcing updates and new submissions, but I have not received an update since July 25, 2022. I did check my SPAM folder, but there's nothing there. Is this a site wide issue, or maybe it's been discontinued? Or are you still getting your updates, and this is an isolated issue on my account?

Thank you for any feedback you may be able to provide. Have a nice day.

I think you are referring to the Feedburner RSS email subscription service. Google decided to kill off this function when they upgraded Feedburner last year. See:

Are you able to subscribe to the RSS feed instead?

Otherwise, if you google for them, there are some free web services that convert any RSS feed you specify to periodic emails.

Hello Andrew. Thank you for your response. Yes, Google Feedburner was the delivery client. Thank you for your recommendation about the RSS Feed. I will get that setup today. Have a great day!

What's your setup? What software are you using for RSS?
