Re: is there desktop portable chess game that let me play online?

ssuite software, personal office or stand alone chess is "network play only". BUT for " online play ", I suggest "WinBoard-Alien" v4.8, with the newer 500kb exe (they say, 459kb true size, UPX compressed) Download experimental WinBoard executable (500 kB), (with support for some non-Chesslike games,...

Re: Tom's Viewer

Would almost lot this under the image processing category there's so many. In my app by app tests, options are nice but many "vary in byte value"..... but there is gold to be found! I am truly amazed by Software OK & SSuite Software apps byte4byte value NirSoft also... Rocketcake , The WYSIWYG Stat...

Re: Tom's Viewer

Does anyone have an idea of how to download the various Tom's Viewer plugins manually? I can do a screencap and OCR the various links in screen prompt, but trying to find a way around that. I didn't take a close look at this when it was first discussed, but definitely a lot of unique filters and pr...

Re: Tom's Viewer

PS: Imagine can handle PDF, I just tested it (I do have all plugins listed on site mind you...so it may not do so default) I just finished a "byte4byte best" FOSS/Freeware software compilation, mostly for "creatives/modders/devs" ( there is a portable version also BTW ) Toms viewer seemed VERY promi...

Re: Tom's Viewer

If you want the plugins I have them all individually BUT: fotographix and imagine trump this in file type support, features and FULL (all plugins) size. This is neat but a sub-ideal program, poor UI also. This doesnt deserve to waste ppls time as an option, sub-class compared to byte4byte better app...

Re: Diablo 2 (+ LOD if you want) MULTIPLAYER possible Anyone Interested

These does, 2 ways 1 way is "dirty but easy"...But you need Virtual Box (portablized) also..... here is how : Make Mini XP (no network) image: I googled a bit for you and found MicroXP (not "mini XP"). If so I can post pre-made version using files from " OPENDIABLO 2 "; An open-source implementation of Diablo2 Github Organization Page: https://github.com/OpenDiablo2/OpenDiablo2 I have tested it to work, and its 100% FOSS ( In a nutshell : it doesnt use copy-written material to play game)

Re: RocketCake

Other than preferences reset, have you had issues "Using it to make a site"? I've always got a use for a solid HTML editor -- I'll try to test it out in the coming weeks. What do you think? For its size and system resources needs vs results? Its not "that far" behind "Open element" or "Publii" cons...
