Re: ThinApp 4.0

Interesting read, Napiophelios!

Didn't know that ThinApp allows restarting your computer when capturing an app!

Re: WinX DVD Ripper Platinum giveaway until september 30, 20009

Thanks for posting this, Ennovy!

Cool that it's portable after moving the .ini.
Can anyone confirm that it's stealth?

Re: JPE Config Modifier v0.8

Hi crownixx,

Great app!

I have one request:
-Under "Advanced Configuration > Exceptions > File System", would it be possible to add a checkbox list of most commonly used file locations (eg. my documents, desktop, etc.)?

Re: Fotografix Beta 2

Not bad for a ~700kb program!
Has layers and many tools you'd associate with Photoshop.

Minor cons: Uses Windows for the color and font management.

Re: QZoom(Zoom like Mac OS X in Windows)

Cool! Thanks joby for posting!
Seems like mira96 posted a portable version on the blog, so no need to use UE ;)

Quite small memory usage, which is good.
Customizable hotkeys and mousewheel zoom as well!

Definitely useful for Camstudio or Camtasia!

Interesting approach, knightcoders.

I might have to look into this when I have the time!

Font on TPFC

Hey Andrew,

I'm not really a fan of the new font and size.
Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of Verdana when it's larger.

I liked Arial when it was at 80%.

What does everyone else think?

Re: Midori - an LGPL WebKit web browser

Thanks for the link, Simon. Quite a nice, looking browser... has nice features such as user scripts and user styles, as well as custom search engines with search aliases! Interface reminds me a lot of Opera, which is good! The filesize is a little big though (28.6 MB even when I took out most of the...

Re: Sumatra PDF V0.9.4

This new version kicks ass! I think I'm going to start using this instead of PDF-XChange Viewer. Here's the changelog for those who are interested: 0.9.4 (2009-07-19): * improved PDF compatibility (more types of documents can be rendered) * added settings dialog (contributed by Simon Bünzli) * impro...

Not sure if this is possible to be Jaunte'd! Alcohol 52% - Free Edition: http://www.free-downloads.net/programs/Alcohol_52__Free_Edition (via http://trial.alcohol-soft.com) Virtual drive emulation is tricky when it comes to portables, right? Would love to see this work in a portable environment thou...

Wow... I don't believe the RSS feed for the "Recent Forum Postings" was so important to my frequent trips to this website!
I'm having a hard time navigating the forums without it! :p

Re: Good audio manager?

I remember when Foobar used to suck because you needed an elitist-level learning curve in order to get things the way you wanted it.
But the latest releases are quite decent, I just haven't played around with it or (like you) dedicated any time to configure everything.
