Re: Mental Calculation Training Software

is this your program, igec? if so its kind of interesting but a few suggestions - 1) needs a pause button - program freezes up if trying to change settings while its running and no way to pause it other than exit 2) should be able to mix problems also instead of just add, subtract, divide 3) have hi...

Re: [Edit page] Move release date field next to version field

@bitcoin. Thank you for replying. Now I see that we are actually talking about two different things! I was taking about the edit page ! ah, ok like this program has 21 lines wasted because of who upvoted it - https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1479 would be better if that line just said ...

Re: AntiDupl.NET

latest version returns 8 of 68 on Virus Total I'm getting a slightly different result with 7/70: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/c30774a4f22a0c5b21cf916f0d963aa2930605d4bd1ca27a2cdeac2665432623/detection ... but that is a little higher than I'd prefer. Hopefully additional analysis in the comin...

Re: What hardware are you using?

Another thing i like to have while i'm going on a hike is an MP3 player. The problem with smartphones or Hi-Res players is battery life. I've looked thoroughly for a player that would give me the best autonomy and found one that has 70 hours battery life. It's small, light and has 8Gb onboard flash...

Re: [Edit page] Move release date field next to version field

looks ok to me the way it is fwiw The main problem for me is that It requires too much scrolling, and the order could be better. Can you elaborate? Do you like the one-per-row design or what exactly? i think the first row should be shorter lengthwise than the rows below it, if you add "Release...

Re: Feature request: Adware tag

Also would be good if there was an easy way to split out actual new program additions on the "Latest" page instead of having all the updates lumped in. Maybe its there and i'm just unaware though. Maybe a right-left click button or rocker switch with "All" on one side and "...

Re: Exeinfo PE

Lastly, has anyone tested recently if the reasons why Exeinfo PE is considered non-portable remain the same? i just ran v0.0.5.9 in Sandboxie and it left about 8 MB at AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\ and 5 reg-hive listings also the webpage spun off iirc 4 new spam tabs in row that i had ...

Re: Feature request: Adware tag

what about a DOT NET tag? We have two categories present to help people view programs for both dotnet and java dependencies: https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?sc=267 https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?sc2=261 The nice part is that these can be used to search for only those programs...
