Yes, all my software is on a portable drive. I'm using the latest version of FreeShow and Windows 11 Pro. So, FreeShow is located for me at: Q:\Portable-Software\FreeShow I created a Data folder inside that folder: Q:\Portable-Software\FreeShow\Data I use Quick Access Popup to launch programs, so on...

I'm really not sure what you are doing, but it works fine. I just tried it. All electron files stored in the app folder, nothing in appData.

You can use the '--user-data-dir' parameter to store the electron files in the same location as the app.

Def not portable after running some checks. It creates the following directory with application icons:

I think a lot of their software isn't portable, so 50/50 at best. They do have some great utilities.

It occurs for me if I add a link to the windows sendto folder, then right click a file and send to MPad. Access violation everytime. I did inform the author, but he couldn't replicate it, so not sure. Same on both my PC and laptop.

DropIt is awesome, but it does appear to contain a serious bug: If you copy multiple folders to another folder (eg: backup) and one of the source folders files is in use by Windows the software fails on that copy and wipes almost everything from the source directory.
