Renamer

v. 5.3
http://www.den4b.com/

v. 5.25
http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=562

Seems like just recently you posted the last update (less than a month ago) but the developer lists this as "major" and there are a long list of changes.

MyUninstaller

v. 1.39
http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=315

v. 1.41
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/myuninst.html

Most importantly, fixes a small but annoying bug:

"The main window lost the focus when the user switched to another application and then returned back to MyUninstaller."

WeatherMate and WinHTTrack

Weathermate v.3.3.4 http://www.ravib.com/wm/ v.3 http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1254 Quite a few updates since v.3.3 ... especially the radar image issue: http://www.ravib.com/wm/relnotes.htm --- WinHTTrack v.3.42-2 (seems like a minor bugfix update) http://www.httrack.com/page/1/en/index.html ...

Sophos Anti-Rootkit

v.1.3.1 http://www.sophos.com/products/free-tools/sophos-anti-rootkit.html v. 1.3 http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=921 Seems a worthwhile update since any improvements on detection are good. Although the release notes point to the new install and uninstall features, I just ran 7-zip on the file a...

Method for Portable Java

> the JRE license disallows such bundling of runtime Users can generate such packages themselves http://portableapps.com/support/openoffice_portable#java Too much work? Given that many users already do a lot of work to get software on this site running (for example Winamp's Full version), this isn't...

addressing some concerns

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback. Some thoughts that maybe some of you can find flaws with... > Maybe if you created different versions, and posted them on forums related to certain user groups. i.e. From day to day, people can't predict what they will want or need. I feel like I have to giv...

Audiobook Cutter - wait until the next version

I know someone's going to suggest it because updates show up on the site often for it but this one is REAL low priority: The release notes explain why: MINOR documentation improvements. http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?group_id=165922&release_id=584453 Not a big reason to update. - - - "...

Crossover emulation of PortableFreeware

I evaluated Crossover (http://www.codeweavers.com/products) in my spare time. Its not freeware but it will allow make some Windows-only software cross-platform. The free WINE of course is easily available for Linux users, but the install process for Mac is a bit more involved . Additionally, CrossOv...

two versions

> but u can make 2 version

My aim is to try and create "the kitchen sink" portable archive that has absolutely everything. I am considering breaking the archive up into a "general" programs and "media" programs since many people never leave iTunes and VLC and don't need all that extra stuff.
