Generally don't link directly to the files since they change over time. For instance with the FLV import module to virtualdub, though the guy was clever there - he left the file up with a readme file saying "This is an outdated version!"

xsearch seems to be ok, except it writes its settings to the registry (which doesn't matter from a settings point of view since there is very little to set)

Crash before any interface shows up.

I was looking for a program to edit mp3 tags, and was browsing through the entires on here. And I noticed that someone whith different names seem to write comments to these programs suggesting people instead get a program called id3butler. This is of course a program you have to pay for (and I doubt...

I just tried this - install, copy, uninstall, run copy CRASH - doesn't seem to work as portable anymore.

I always thought it was portable enough for me
