Re: Alternative to "Remote Winamp" Plugin

OK I figured it out... I had mistyped* the opened port. Everything is working fine. :)
* what was the correct word for that (I did googled and found "misspelled" but isn't that spoken?).

Re: Bookmarklets

@__ philippe Thank you for the good suggestions!! (Oh, ...and Yes, the font in your "URL in Wayback Machine" is decidedly an easier read, on those tired eyes of mine, anyway.) Switching them to quotes... ;) You can also improve the legibility of a "CodeBox" built-in standard font by wrapping it with...

Re: Alternative to "Remote Winamp" Plugin

Thank you so much!! I really like Vibe Streamer. Great browser interface and it allows to download any file (though without the original name and ext(could be the file hash?)). The only issues are that it doesn't support aac for the browser player, anyway most of my audio is in mp3. It says it runs ...

Alternative to "Remote Winamp" Plugin

I'm looking for a alternative to the "Remote Winamp" plugin (which is no longer supported) http://www.trustedreviews.com/Winamp-Orb-Remote-Streaming-photos http://winampheritage.com/plugin/remote-winamp/66980 that basically allows streaming, downloading over the internet via a web browser or Winamp ...

Re: Bookmarklets

Ok on it. This time I calculated the characters. Yep some are in 120s getting them to 80s.
btw by accident the code of "URL in Wayback Machine" is wrapped in quotation. Is it easier read than the others in
code wrap?

Re: Bookmarklets

The uninterrupted sequence of text entered in the Code boxes is way too long for preserving page layout sanity; the formatting would look much better with the lines broken down into shorter segments, by merely hitting the " Return " key here an there, say every 80 characters or so, when first creat...

Re: Playing with Genres of Music by Decades

I'm lost on which are the oldest folk genres (that is traditional folk or ancient folk)... I have the impression I'm missing many... For example countries like Brazil alone has lots of folk genres such as samba, bossa nova, forro, MPB, funk carioca, Batucada, trpicalia, sertanejo (though they are no...

What.cd backup?

I'm kind of sad one of the largest music repositories is gone. I can't help wonder what music collections did it had; most likely I would discover interesting albums. After researching a bit found https://www.reddit.com/r/trackers/comments/5dnkzc/so_archiveorg_has_a_backup_of_the_whatcd_database/?st...

List all opened windows in the taskbar

Currently I'm using Windows's task manager to view opened windows and select them, but it would be better to do so directly from the taskbar similar to listing all tabs in firefox. I'm aware there's an option to combine similar windows, but I prefer to have them organized differently. I'm using Task...

Merge tabs?

I'm constantly saving webpages for future reference. But sometimes it is hard to save them in an easy to read scheme. For example there's the Re-Pagination Firefox addon and PageZipper bookmarklet that concatenate "next" or "back" pages in the same tab. But at times there's no next or back button or...
