Depends on what's already loaded in RAM. If you often use IE, or CHM files, the HTML page will probably load in a snap. If not, the system will take a moment to load the needed DLL in RAM before diplaying even a simple HTML page without pictures (like the "Manual" in StackNotes). Basically, it's jus...

Yes, the "Manual" file is displayed using IE engine. BTW, you can display any HTML file included as a resource inside an executable by typing "res://PathToYourProgram\ExecutableName.exe/ResourceName.html" inside the IE adress bar. Something worth to know for the curious people !

I am Baas, there isn't "auto-check for update" implemented actually; you have to hit the "Homepage" button on the "About" tab in the "Options" dialog, to check by yourself if a new version was released at SourceForge via your browser. I don't plan to add this, but it may be implemented if enough use...

Hello, I think I found a bug- StackNotes cannot remember 'Close to systray' setting in 'Options' although I check it and apply it. In order to make StackNotes remember it I had to manually change '[SystemTray]=0' to '[SystemTray]=1' in 'StackNotes.ini' file- then StackNotes really closes to system ...
