It stores settings in %USERPROFILE%\.openshot_qt and we move it back and forth along with setting 8 env vars, portablizing settings, etc. There doesn't seem to be either an environment variable or a command line switch to adjust this yet.

You can run two separate copies of the platform without issue. You can't run two instances of the same menu (that would be a bit pointless anyway).
