FreeRDP - open source remote desktop

Not something I'm recommending, more posting this because remote desktop tools have generally been a popular topic here. I'd like to save someone else some time digging. --- FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache license. Enjoy the freedom of...

Re: FocusOn Image Viewer

Weird: FocusOn Image Viewer is announcing release v1.30 from 2023-12-28 (see https://www.pintosoft.com/en/post/foni1.30_en). In upgrading I found that the server was having issues today (Jan 1 2024) but a mirror is available: https://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-SOFTWARE/Multimedia/Graphi...

Re: Softpedia Apps ... Clean?

Here is the VirusTotal analysis Looks like it's a bunch of tools I've never heard of so ... probably a false-positive. I suspect some of those "companies" just copy-paste the results of others and don't actually do any analysis, which bumps up the rating. Honestly I think only maybe 20 of...

Re: Why is our site icon an installer?

This logo refresh topic indirectly came up a few years ago. I posted a few designs that I had in mind that I worked with a graphic designer on but it got declined and everyone seemed happy with the current logo. I unfortunately can't seem to find that thread.

The last time I tested it (some years ago) it was real, real buggy/crashy. I don't love losing data. Has anyone used this new version and maybe feel safe vouching for it?

I use a batch-file. Something more elegant would be great.
What did you use to make this image? I'm assuming you made it with a mockup program?

Could you post the mp3tocd.exe VT link / SHA for reference? They have an excellent track record. I've not had any issues with downloads from there in all the time I've been on TPFC. That said, a long time ago smaragdus discovered some proper malware on Softpedia. I can't seem to find that forum. But...
