It's not portable at all, it writes the logs and config files to:
AppData/Roaming/SystemTrayMenu/*

How is it not really portable?
It writes to the appData folder. I mean, it's portable I guess, just not stealth.

This one also nice and simple: http://tribblesoft.com/regex-search-replace/ BinaryMark software creates folders/data in AppData. All of their portable software does. I contacted them about it, but they just told me to backup the appData folder as well. lol. I said, er...thanks, but not really ideal....

Thanks webfork. RedFernPlace Regex Builder isn't portable, creates empty directories at:

C:\ProgramData\RedfernPlace\*

Not sure if the settings get written there too?

I was a little worried about that -- one of the reason I didn't embrace a lot of Portapps software. The project appears to do monthly batch updates, which isn't necessarily a problem unless a major software vulnerability comes out for a given program. True. Some of the apps haven't been updated for...
