Tuniac (audio player/manager)
Hoping that it will turn portable someday, here's Tuniac , an interesting little media player available in x32 and x64 versions -- unfortunately, it saves playlists in ' %APPDATA%\Tuniac ' and settings in 'HKCU\Software\Tuniac ' (see below for more info). Tuniac is an iTunes style media player/manag...

Congratulations: you have found one of the differences in our quiz...

NB: contrary to my initial belief, Music Collection is a physical media cataloger (think CD collection), not a general music manager (like MediaMonkey , e.g.)... v1.7.7.3 out (released 2013-01-13) Latest changelog ( http://www.gsoft4u.com/updatelog.php ): December 30, 2012 - Added CD drive selection...

Re: Clarifiying Stealth: Yes, No, and a 3rd option
I like the binary YES / NO option, complemented with further/proper specification for whatever else in the entry's notes...

Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?
Did you try this? Works here. http://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/open-in-background-with-long-press/ No, I didn't, thanks for suggesting. This looks like a great add-on for tablet like devices; still and on the mouse, long press seems less convenient than what I'm used to: QuickDrag ( ht...

Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?
My biggest gripe with Opera: you can't seem to be able to effectively have a grab-link-to-open-in-new-tab-in-background behavior as in Firefox -- there are several options suggesting this (opera:conf, extensions) but none of them seem to work...

Re: Issue with Office and portable copy managers
Nice of you to share. :) MS Office is so pervasive that any issue that affects it is bound to be almost universal. Myself, I froze on the 2000 iteration, since it does everything I need, is now rather lightweight, and can be made to understand later versions documents (especially docx ad xlsx) with ...

Re: Ghostbuster
GhostBuster has a portable build also. Great find! http://i.imgur.com/jg2t4.gif Edit: after some tests, GhostBuster does a more complete job, but it requires some interaction. The script above does what is safe with minimum interaction. The ' portable ' Ghostbuster is saving (minor) settings at %AP...

Re: mplayer2
I wonder why media players are forked so often... mplayer2 development is slow, and it's hard to get in changes. Details withheld as to not turn this into a rant . I know yours was a rhetorical question, but... (given the required skills) that seems to me like a good enough reason...
