Cornflower wrote: Hey Midas, How did you get the image to appear? I tried both url and img tags, but no success (got to be a dumb mistake on my part).
Fixed it: for the [img] tag, you need the direct image URL (https://i.imgur.com/pikA44G.jpeg) instead of its page address (https://imgur.com/a/NfHEcRD).

Re: RapidCRC Unicode - batch hashing/checksum

Edit: I think I solved it, I needed to select all hashes before creating the hashfiles. Plus, I forgot I had created the BIN hashes while ripping. Duh! Maybe someone will help me solve this little problem I've run into while using RapidCRC : I ran it on an external drive filled with...

Re: Picture Viewers for Very Large Graphic Files

Great job, juverax . 8) Imagine ( https://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1819 ) Closes itself when you click on the thumbnail I can confirm this, as portable Imagine is still my default viewer... :( Looks like it's time to setup some alternatives. Not that I ever open such large images, but one never ...

BTW, portable users are advised to not overlook PmWiki 's " Wiki On A Stick " page (www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/WikiOnAStick), which gives some pretty good tutorials for running PmWiki with several different portable webservers ( XAMPP , Abyss , USBWebServer ) ...

Re: Portable VirtualBox [VB launcher utility]

WinPatrol , startup and on demand system and memory scans with ClamWin , and a fair knowledge of what's running by default in my machine (a prospect made infinitely harder by Windows 10) have been my main counter-measures. As for MS Defender , one of the reasons the above positive really struck a c...

Re: AkelPad (ultra lightweight text editor)

There have been trickling updates as late as September 2020 [...] [Coming] changes include supporting 64-bit and native portable mode! Thanks for the news, freakzoid . I was once an AkelPad user and may quickly return, should those changes materialize. I seem to recall AkelPad being coded straight ...
