alexeena, You would probably be better serviced by starting a new thread in Chit Chat instead of awakening a sleeping thread. Personally, I've been using a Vonage voip as a second phone line for about five years. I have had problems from time to time, but about the same level as my current Verizon l...

This is what I was responding to:
<q>I just want to hide it from casual users who would just shut down my programs (wife, children, etc)</q>

You aren't asking for anything particularly unusual, so long as you are willing to have an entry on the Notification area of the Task bar. Personally, I use the PortableApps Menu R34 mod variant on USB drives, USB sticks, SD cards, and in my user directory on my client's machine (where I do not have...

I've tried to use Everything without success. It doesn't start indexing. From the help file, it appears it does not support FAT32 volumes. My only Windows machine came as WinXP on FAT32; I have no good reason to change.

You can't resize an image larger than the memory you have available. That is true of the portable version and the installed (original) version.

Re: "Create New Virtual Disk" error

cocotteman wrote:Hi,

I've installed your version of Portable VirtualBox. But, when I want to create a new virtual box and to resize the image from 2GB to 3GB, I always obtain the same message : "the memory could not be read"...

Could anyone help me ?

Thanks a lot.

Simply, portable versions do not appear by magic; someone has to code them. In some cases, there are copyright or trademark issues if you use the original code and make changes (mozilla products). The original author, who generally knows the application best, doesn't always want the application to b...
